Olivier Deloye – Illustrateur français

Olivier Deloye est un illustrateur français spécialisé dans la bande dessinée jeunesse, l’illustration de presse et les illustrations d’idée. Il a travaillé dans des domaines variés, notamment la publicité, l’enseignement, le graphisme et l’édition jeunesse, développant un univers créatif où l’image et l’idée se rencontrent.

Auteur d’une cinquantaine d’ouvrages, il a mené des projets très divers, allant de la typographie et du graphisme (ABCD de la typographie, collectif avec David Rault, Gallimard, 2018, nominé aux Eisner Awards) au roman graphique (Ô Verlaine !, Steinkis, 2021), ou encore à des carnets plus personnels comme Dessins sans dessein (Ateliers Perrousseaux, 2023). Ses créations explorent différentes techniques mixtes et une approche ludique, toujours guidée par l’idée.

Depuis 2006, il illustre la série Émile et Margot (avec Anne Didier et Olivier Muller au scénario, Clémence Sapin à la couleur – Bayard jeunesse), publiée chaque mois dans Mes premiers J’aime Lire. Cette série de bande dessinée jeunesse, traduite dans de nombreux pays, à l’univers joyeux et créatif a séduit un large public et a donné lieu à des déclinaisons en jeux, romans et expositions, dont une au Festival d’Angoulême 2025, pour laquelle il a signé l’affiche du Pavillon Jeunesse.

Olivier Deloye is a French illustrator specializing in children’s comics, editorial illustration, and conceptual drawings. He has worked in various fields, including advertising, teaching, graphic design, and children’s publishing, developing a creative universe where image and idea meet.

Author of around fifty books, he has carried out highly diverse projects, ranging from typography and graphic design (The ABCD of Typography, collective work with David Rault, Gallimard, 2018, nominated for the Eisner Awards) to graphic novels (Ô Verlaine!, Steinkis, 2021), as well as more personal sketchbooks such as Drawings Without Design (Ateliers Perrousseaux, 2023). Since 2006, he has illustrated the series Émile et Margot (with Anne Didier and Olivier Muller as writers, Clémence Sapin on colors – Bayard Jeunesse), published every month in Mes premiers J’aime Lire.
